Thank you to all who have returned the signed progress notices. These are being sent to inform parents of your child's progress mid-way through the quarter. All third, fourth, and fifth grade students took these home.
I'm not ready for a snow day, but Wednesday may be one. We have an assembly scheduled already for that day, which is changing my plans. We will have a social studies test on Thursday on our native Americans chapter. I have moved my math test to next week. We will review the unit on Monday and test on Wednesday, because we build gingerbread houses next Tuesday morning. Later this week the students will be writing about a person they know who may be a hero to them. These should be fun to read!
Our field trip to Schingothe last week was wonderful. The students' behavior was great and they enjoyed seeing many native American artifacts.
Please remember to send in your child's item for gingerbread houses by Friday. Thank you!
